What happens to what you enter

No accounts, no database

PCS Claim has no user accounts and no server-side database. Nothing you type into the calculator or the packet builder is stored on our servers.

Your photos stay on your device

Damage photos are read, hashed, and embedded into your packet PDF entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded. Original files are never modified.

Drafts live in your browser

Packet drafts (text fields and photo metadata) are saved in your own browser storage so a reload does not lose your work. Clearing your browser data deletes them. Photo files themselves cannot be restored after a reload and must be re-added.

Statement drafting

When you use the paid drafting feature, the facts you entered for that item are sent to our server and passed to an AI model to draft the statement, then returned to your browser. They are processed transiently and not stored. The free preview statement is generated on your device.

Payments

Payment is handled by Stripe on their hosted checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We verify only that a checkout session was paid.

Analytics

We count page events (for example, that a calculation was completed) using a cookieless, privacy-respecting service. Events carry no content — never your dates, amounts, or descriptions. There are no ad pixels and no cookie banners because there is nothing to consent to.
