What is PCS Claim?

A self-help tool for household goods claims after a military move. It computes the published deadlines that apply to your shipment and formats the documentation you submit. You file your own claim — the tool never sends anything anywhere on your behalf.

Is the deadline calculator really free?

Yes. No account, no email address, no payment details. Enter your move facts, get your dated timeline, export it to your calendar, and leave.

Where do the deadlines come from?

Published Department of Defense moving rules: the Defense Transportation Regulation, Defense Personal Property Program business rules, and official moving guidance. Each deadline shown is tied to the rule it comes from, and any rule not yet confirmed against a primary source is labeled that way and excluded from generated documents.

Do you store my information?

Nothing you enter is stored on our servers, ever. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Packet drafts are saved only in your own browser storage. Photos never leave your device — the packet PDF is generated right in the browser. Anonymous usage counters (page events with no content attached) are the only analytics.

Do you file the claim for me?

No. PCS Claim produces documents you download and submit yourself, in DPS or directly with your moving company. It never files, transmits, or communicates with anyone on your behalf.

What does the $29 packet builder add?

Item-by-item intake that formats an evidence PDF with photo integrity hashes, paste-ready DPS text blocks, a drafted damage statement you edit and adopt as your own, and a counteroffer letter draft addressed to the moving company. The first item is built free before any payment.

What is the refund policy?

What about the Military Claims Office stage?

The published window to transfer a claim to a Military Claims Office is two years from delivery. This tool provides no documents for that stage — it is a claim against the United States, and the right resource is your service branch claims office or a legal assistance office.
